I understand but if you go around wondering if you're going to miss someone then you'll never have anyone. Don't jump into a relationship. You can take it slow. Talk to him. Date him. Just have fun with him. You might find out that you have a connection with him. Do what you want and don't overthink it.

I think that I’m afraid I’ll just settle into this relationship with him when I know I deserve so much better, but I’ve been alone for so long and I just want to be held and be called “babe”. I’m afraid that while I’m in this pointless relationship I’ll pass my soulmate and the guy that is going to treat me perfectly, but I wont even notice because I’m already “committed”. ugh.
